LABEL An identification applied on a product by the manufacturer that contains the name of the manufacturer, the function and performance characteristics of the product or material, and the name and identification of an approved agency and that indicates that the representative sample of the product or material has been tested and evaluated by an approved agency.
LEAD FREE PIPE & FITTINGS Containing not more than 8.0 % lead.
LEAD FREE SOLDER & FLUX Containing not more than 0.2 percent lead.
LEADER An exterior drainage pipe for conveying storm water from roof or gutter drains to an approved means of disposal.
LOCAL VENT STACK A vertical pipe to which connections are made from the fixture side of traps and through which vapor or foul air is removed from the fixture or device utilized on bedpan washers.
